Vacation Dates for 2023
March 31 - April 15
Breastfeeding is the normal and optimal way to feed a baby, but it is not always easy, nor does it come "naturally" to some. This can be due to a multitude of factors which, once identified, can often be easily rectified so that both Mom and babe can have a positive breastfeeding experience.
As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I work together with the Mom to come up with a workable plan to help her and her baby have a successful breastfeeding relationship. As I have many years experience working with new families, I bring with me knowledge of postpartum maternal physical and emotional needs, and all aspects of newborn care.

I do not give medical advice, but am able to make and suggest appropriate referrals within the community.
While COVID-19 social distancing recommendations are still in place, I will be offering in-person visits following current guidelines for wearing a mask for the duration of the visit and wearing gloves when touching you or your baby. I will also be screening each family for signs of COVID prior to our consult. Strict handwashing and disinfecting of hard surfaces and the infant scale will also be done prior to and after each consult.
If you would like a video consult instead of in person appointment, please feel free to contact me to arrange this. Cell 902 448 2213 or email thenurturingtouch@gmail.com
