Lactation Breastfeeding Consultant

Halifax Nova Scotia

Please note that I will be on vacation from Dec 13 2017- January 10 2018.  If you need urgent support please contact  Nancy Harmon at http://www.goodlatch.ca or your Public Health Nurse 902 481 5800

I look forward to supporting you again in the New Year.

Breastfeeding is the normal and optimal way to feed a baby, but it is not always easy, nor does it come "naturally" to some.  This can be due to a multitude of factors which, once identified, can often be easily rectified so that both Mom and babe can have a positive breastfeeding experience.

As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I work together with the Mom to come up with a workable plan to help her and her baby have a successful breastfeeding relationship.  As I have many years experience working with new families, I bring with me knowledge of postpartum maternal physical and emotional needs, and all aspects of newborn care.
