New Mothers Mental Health

Having a baby is a time of joy and new beginnings, but it is also a time of hormonal changes, sheer exhaustion and adjusted life expectations. It is easy for others to forget how stressful this time can be for a new Mom.

It is normal for new Moms to have some "baby blues" - feelings of sadness,  tearfulness and anxiety. These feelings usually go away within the first few weeks of a delivery. Sometimes they do not and you continue feeling overwhelmed, anxious and too sad to enjoy your baby. You are not alone!
Postpartum Depression and Anxiety affects many women and it is something that you should not have to go through alone.
